How time is charged
Time is measured portal to portal, from when we leave our office until we are back, and rounded up to the next half hour.
Only the time actually spent outside business hours is charged at the higher rate. A visit from 5 am to 7 am is one hour at the night rate and one at the business-hours rate.
Where two rates apply, the higher one is used. They are never added together.
Times are US Eastern.
